Applying Montessori @ Home (Geometric Shapes: Circle, Square and Triangle)

學習幾何形狀在蒙特梭利的教學中安排在3至4歲才介紹。但今時今日的孩子好像要將世界所有的知識務必在出生頭幾年要全部學會。我對此保持著開放的態度,若果孩子有興趣”Why not?”,當然若果Abbie沒有興趣或者未ready我不會勉強。最近經常下雨又不能到公園玩而家裡有Presentation Tray,便讓她嘗試。

Presentation Tray在蒙氐的教學中屬感官教具,而其目標是要讓孩子能分辨形狀及後說出形狀的名稱。所以介紹工作時,讓孩子觸摸形狀,他便可以感受到不同形狀的特性繼而分辦。及後可介紹形狀的名稱。

為了令活動更有趣,我用了Montessori的Geometric Solid(Cylinder, Triangular Prism, Cube), 進行以下活動。<請注意這不是Geometric Solid的合適使用方法,但我認為如果配合學習及不是破壞教具,Why not?>
