My first happy Diwali

Our school celebrated Diwali yesterday. We had have a lot of fun and did various activities. We made rangolis, diyas and ate samosas(好似咖喱角but not spicy).

However, I was very stressful when I needed to tell the story of Diwali. I did the prepartion such as search the information from internet, read the story before I told many times, made the props. The problem was I don’t know how to pronounce the vocabularies which in the story (e.g. Ayodhya, Lakshmana, Hanuman……><“).

And I was panic when I was telling the stroy in front of the children and the parents. Some of them are Indians!

Luckily, the parnets were very nice. They reminded me how to pronounce the vocabularies and everything run very smooth.

I am very happy that I learn and experience a lot from this function.

One of the parents in my class brought the Sari and help me to wear. We show the process in front of the class and the children said that it like wrapping a gift ^^

This is diyi and it was made by one of our class. Diwali is an indian festival which is to celebrate the return of Rama and Sita.
